Oatmeal topped with fresh blackberries (that I picked outside my condo), black plum, almonds, and caramel sauce.
Banana oatmeal with ataulfo mango, sliced almonds, and caramel sauce. Surprisingly good!
Random eats: A sweet potato bun from HMart, Shin Ramyun with Rice cakes and mandoo, asian corn (its stickier than normal corn), and mangos/cantaloupe!
Green Juice: 1 green apple, 1 cucumber, kale, and lettuce.
Oatmeal with ataulfo mangoes, raspberries, Fage greek yogurt, and almond butter.
Din tai Fung: Juicy Pork Dumplings, Shumai, and Shanghai Fried Chicken Noodles.
Molly Moons: Earl Grey and Cherry Chunk on a waffle cone.
Fresh Juice: Kale, romaine, cucumber, and cantaloupe juiced together with an ataulfo mango blended in at the end. I haven’t used my juicer for a long time, but I’m trying to get more greens in so I thought it would be the perfect time to use it again. I have to say…this juice was AMAZING and so refreshing! I mean, look at dat foam. So good. There will be many more of these to come!
Smoothie made with 1 ataulfo mango, 1 small yellow peach, and a few handful of frozen raspberries! I bought a 26-ounce Weck canning jar and i love it! It’s huge and stubby looking, but i think its wonderful!
Chapagetti noodles cooked with rice cakes and green onions, topped with a fried egg. I haven’t had ramen in SO long…this reminded me of my childhood and it was AMAZING.
This is ‘rib bread’ from the bakery at HMart. It’s basically a soft bread filled with red bean paste and green bean paste with a peanut buttery cookie crumble topping. I loved this! The bread was really soft and paired well with the fillings and toppings.
Wow. It has been so long since I last posted anything. My phone camera broke and my friend borrowed my dslr for a while so I wasn’t able to take any pictures…but I’m back now!
I made raspberry cream scones when my parents visited so i split one in half, put some greek yogurt, and topped it with some fresh cherries! Delicious!
1 piece of apple tart, a scoop of Greek yogurt, and a piece of kabocha squash.
Dinner: Mizuki Buffet. For our last dinner together, my family and I went to a sushi buffet for dinner. It’s kind of expensive ($27.99 per person for dinner), but I heard good things about it so we decided to try it.
Basically every plate has half sushi and then half meat/misc. things. The sushi was really fresh tasting and well made. I don’t know if I really ate ~$30 worth, but it was a good dinner. 3 hours later…I can still hardly breathe, I’m so full.
Apple Tart from La Panier in Pike Place Market. This is from one of my dear friends! She gave it to me for graduation…dawwww I love her :)
Breakfast: Pastries from Cafe Besalu. This is what we ordered between the 5 of us. I had a ginger scone and a few bites of blueberry Danish…both of which were so delicious. The scone tasted even more amazing with the strawberry jam. I would literally recommend everything at Cafe Besalu.
Cafe Besalu! It’s been a long time since I’ve been here but I knew I had to bring my family here to try it. Here is a sampling of their bakery case. Everything looked and smelled so awesome!
