Dinner: Sticky rice cooked with black rice and purple sweet potatoes, songpyeon, a persimmon, and a few chinese dates. Persimmons are one of my most favorite fruits EVER. I seriously LOVE them and look forward to eating them each fall! Also, the chinese dates are really good! Crisp and slightly sweet, they aren’t like medjool dates or anything, but they are good in their own way.
Watermelon, a pear, and a mugwort mochi filled with red beans!
Smoothie made with bananas, medjool dates, and some other ingredients that I forgot….tasty!
Honey whole wheat toast (from Old Mill Bakery) topped with almond butter and orange marmalade. 1 sliced pear.
Random mix of things from Metropolitan Market’s Salad Bar. From left to right: broccoli salad, herb chicken breast, roasted sweet potatoes, and orrechiette with peppers and peas. All of this was REALLY gewd and I enjoyed this.
Smoothie made with 3 medjool dates, a bartlett pear, a handful of raspberries, and a scoop of Fage greek yogurt.
Ritter Sport chocolates I saw on sale at the store. The espresso one was so rich/strong…enjoyed it!
Carrot Cake from Metropolitan Market. Oh em gee. This is the best store bought carrot cake I have ever eaten. There was just the right amount of spices, the texture was PERFECT (moist crumb, carrot was grated into small pieces, super soft, kind of dense yet still fluffy somehow), and the frosting to cake ratio was fine. GO TRY THIS IF YOU LUB CARROT CAKE!
Dinner: Greek yogurt topped with a diced pear, 1 date, 1 black sesame mochi with red bean filling, almond butter, and dried coconut.
Raspberry Banana nice cream! I blended two dates, two frozen bananas, and a small handful of frozen raspberries to make this. It was so creamy and delicious!
Kettle Corn! Popcorn tastes better fresh…even though this wasn’t the best, it was good :)
Smoothie made with 2 dates, 1 danjou pear, Fage greek yogurt, and spinach…topped with 1 date. YUM!
Banana Cinnamon oatmeal with bananas, medjool dates, and almond butter.
Smoothie made with 2 medjool dates, 250g of banana, and 40g of spinach. This was really refreshing~
Greek yogurt topped with banana walnut muffin, raspberries, green grapes (SO GOOD), and sahale cashew & almond crisp.
