I stopped by Trader Joes yesterday and saw these goodies. It’s pumpkin season!
Margherita Pizza from Whole Foods. Whole Foods has really good pizza…kind of like Pagliacci’s (which I love). Plus, they use really high quality ingredients…the basil was fragrant and the cheese was super flavorful!
Banana Pudding from Metropolitan Market. I LOVE banana pudding and banana cream pies and things like that :D
Korean rice cakes, baked kabocha, and peanut butter.
Carrot Cake from PCC Natural Market.
Cookie Butter Ice Cream from Trader Joe’s. Good, but not amazing.
Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Joe-Joes. These were…really disappointing. There is a ton of pumpkin spice (maybe too much) and no real pumpkin flavor. Not sure what I was expecting, but meh.
Two kinds of California Pizza Kitchen take home pizzas: top) BBQ Chicken and bottom) Hawaiian
Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake from Metropolitan Market. The cake was kind of dry and the frosting tasted/felt like fudge, but it was alright.
Chobani’s Pumpkin Spice greek yogurt. This was like dessert!
A chocolate dipped PB cookie from Cougar Mountain…this is one of my favorite brand of cookies EVER, I highly recommend!
A random dinner of spicy pork and purple rice!
Dinner: Sticky rice cooked with black rice and purple sweet potatoes, songpyeon, a persimmon, and a few chinese dates. Persimmons are one of my most favorite fruits EVER. I seriously LOVE them and look forward to eating them each fall! Also, the chinese dates are really good! Crisp and slightly sweet, they aren’t like medjool dates or anything, but they are good in their own way.
Watermelon, a pear, and a mugwort mochi filled with red beans!
