Raspberry Banana nice cream! I blended two dates, two frozen bananas, and a small handful of frozen raspberries to make this. It was so creamy and delicious!
Kettle Corn! Popcorn tastes better fresh…even though this wasn’t the best, it was good :)
Smoothie made with 2 dates, 1 danjou pear, Fage greek yogurt, and spinach…topped with 1 date. YUM!
Banana Cinnamon oatmeal with bananas, medjool dates, and almond butter.
Smoothie made with 2 medjool dates, 250g of banana, and 40g of spinach. This was really refreshing~
Greek yogurt topped with banana walnut muffin, raspberries, green grapes (SO GOOD), and sahale cashew & almond crisp.
Whole Foods Banana Walnut Muffin. This muffin was not very sweet, but had a nice banana taste. It was moist and the texture was good.
Lunch: Vegetarian Pesto Pizza from Whole Foods. This pizza had a pesto base with cheese, roasted peppers, roasted garlic, and zucchini. This was SO good…the crust was perfectly crunchy but thick enough, the veggies were thick-cut, the garlic was smooshy and sweet, and the cheese was good. This was one of the best pizza slices I’ve had in a long time!
Boulart whole grain bread from Whole Foods. I toasted it with a shmear of butter and it was fantastic! Super chewy and crusty!
Recent Costco Buys:
Sahale Cashew-Almond Nut & Fruit Crisp. Wow this is so good. It has shredded coconut, nuts, dried fruit, etc…so crispy and yummy! Try it if you see it!
Medjool Dates: I dont think i’ve had medjool dates yet…but these were really gooey and sweet!
This bread is from a Seattle bakery called ‘Old Mill Bakery’ and I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time. It reminds me of Great Harvest in that the loaves are really dense, but the texture and taste are very very different. I love the flavor and chew, but it was a dry, not toasted. Once toasted, though, its reallllly good. I’m gonna enjoy this loaf!
Tasty Kettle Corn!
약밥. This is a mix of sticky rice, black beans, adzuki beans, kabocha squash, soy sauce, brown sugar, and cinnamon. It was really good…just barely sweet and a good texture from all the mix ins. I don’t think I put the right amount of water for cooking, but it all came together.
Cashew Noodles, Pork Potstickers, and Orange Chicken from Metropolitan Market. These all tasted good…a little oily, but the chicken was really meaty and not too soggy (from Whole Foods, its always beyond soggy), the noodles were flavorful, and the potstickers were AMAZING. The pot stickers almost tasted handmade…i liked them a lot.
Boulart Ciabatta from Whole Foods. The other day, I sampled the mini size ciabatta breads while at Whole Foods and they were SO GOOD, so I bought a big size loaf. I have to say…the smaller size loaves are better, but this was still good! I spread butter on it and then toasted it in a pan and it was…great! I forgot how good buttered toast is…and not bread toasted and then slathered with butter, but bread smothered in butter and toasted. It makes a world of a difference.
